Need For Decentralization

Dear Main Petitioners,

I have realized this, that in order to make the functioning more transparent and less dependent on will and wish of a single person,

1. a group of five(5) persons should make decisions on budget spending and withdrawl.
2. the group can conveniently be constituted of all main petitioners from the colleges.
3. any withdrawl will only be made when 3 out of 5 members will accept it.
4. the decision will be acceptable to all the members including remaining 2 members.
   
5. any withdrawl will be made after permission is recived by the bursar member in email from this email-id.
6. since this is an informal group and everyone is a volunteer, please allow some days for this entire process.
7. I propse the name of Mr.Harmaneet Singh, Ldh Coll. For Women for Bursar Duty as the fund resides with him right now.

Suggestions are invited from all 30 people, for altering the nomenclature of this policy.
Feel free to add any argument or object to anything i may not have foreseen.
Discuss this within your group and send your feed back in a day.

Four new members expected...

Dear Friends,

We welcome four new members joining us from a college.They have put in their papers with the lawyer. Lets wish them luck and pray that they are granted bail also before they are relived.

Although we wish well for all, every petitioner has to decide for him/herself and no assurances should be expected from our side.


I have updated the budget statement with their payment (700Rs each). They have paid the advocate seperately.

As was brought to everyones notice, an amount of 3000 Rs. has not been sorted out as yet. Temporarily, i have deleted the amount from the total budget to reflect the real total budget. We hope to hear soon from the College concerened and amount will be adequately included when a payment slip, similar to shown below is sent to us.

Recruitment.....reason to worry and be ready

As given in the newspapers of 10-Feb-2011, the jobs will be given in the basis of UGC norms. Whats not clear is 

"What the UGC norms in our case, i.e. Computer Science candidates will be ?".

Most of us will fall outside the bracket if NET and Ph.D are set as eligibility.
We discussed with many friends and came to two conclusions :

1. If even there is one regular post to be filled in each college and lets presume the total number of colleges is 30, we all know there is hardly any candidates in our circles whom we know of as being UGC Net cleared. It would be difficult to gather enough we suppose.
2. For similar reasons, Ph.D is also not a probable selection criteria. There are simply even lesser number of doctorate candidates.

But, still there is no limit to the challenge that this oppurtunity may pose. We cannot remain un-concerened with what decisions are taken. In the event of a challenge, prepare yourself to go and meet the Chief Minister Mr.Parkash Singh Badal, to put forward our fears and aspirations.

Recruitment Of College Lecturers

Also, a discripency of 3000 Rs. is being inquired into. So the total amount of remaining fund should be read as 3000 less than what is showing right now. There was perhaps an account no. mis-reading. We have been assured that it will soon be reconciled.

                                   Adv. Fee      : 1500 x 23 = 34,500
                                   Total            : 52,000 Rs.
Cash Paid To Advocate                   : 20,000 (Chq, 24/Jan/2011)
All Other Expenses                          : 1,230 Rs.
Total Fund Transfered to LDH         : 30,770 Rs

Amount now lies with LDH Staff, for burser duty in account of Mr.Harmaneet Singh

I have given link to edit the Budget Statement to Ms.Maninder (GCW, Ldh) so that she is able to maintain the statement from LDH itself.
